Built in 1914, H. T. Klugel Architectural Sheet Metal Work Building is a historic factory building boasting a unique facade with decorative sheet metal of an Edwardian Classicism design painted in silver and black. The Klugel factory is the centerpiece of the Belfield-Emporia Historic District, which contains more than 40 buildings constructed in the late-19th and early-20th centuries, and includes the First National Bank of Emporia, the Hotel Virginia, and the Petersburg and Danville Railroad passenger station.
